zbyte

Merging the dualities of blockchain technology into a cohesive visual identity.

Context

zbyte, pioneering the world's first decentralized platform (dPlat), revolutionized dApp creation by providing intuitive tools for developers. The platform serves as an 'easy button' for dApp creation, significantly reducing the need for deep programming skills, wallet management complexities, and Web2 integrations.

Problem

Despite their innovative approach, zbyte faced a significant challenge: a complete lack of branding. They needed a visual identity that was professional enough to gain trust and modern enough to resonate with the current Web3 zeitgeist. A cohesive brand identity was crucial to appeal to a broader audience and attract investors.

Solution

Our approach embraced the concept of opposites, mirroring the balance between permissionless and permissioned blockchain features – security with flexibility, predictability alongside unrestricted participation. This duality was infused into zbyte's visual identity, from the logo's contrast in one part being rigid, the other one flexible and always changing, to the blend of a modern monospace and classic serif typefaces. The color palette combined deep dark green with subtle mint, accented by a warm-to-cold gradient, encapsulating their innovative essence. All efforts culminated in zbyte raising $10 million from private investors.
